Join us for our Homeschool Parent Meeting this month!
This meeting is part of our Homeschooling 301 series geared for homeschooling parents of high school age or soon-to-be high school. Our topic this month will be: "How to be a Guidance Counselor" with Sarah White, Academic Counselor at Abundant Life Christian School here in Madison. Sarah has graciously agreed to continue her talk to our group, so we hope you will all come out and see what she has to share with us!
Some of the topics she will covered will be:
- How to be a guidance counselor for our teens;

How to help narrow down their future plans;

How to help with career exploration;

How to find internships and non-traditional options;
-
How to research and find colleges;
-
Other post high school options (ie: work study, travel, gap year, etc.);

Are there any tools out there to help us navigate our kids in the right direction after high school.
We will also have a time for questions, refreshments and fellowship at the end of our meeting. This is open to non-FISH members, so please help spread the word! Sign-ups are appreciated, but not necessary to attend.
