Join us for a field trip to the 2025 Maple Syrup Festival at Mackenzie Center in Poynette!
This program brings to life the world of Maple Syrup by allowing students to:
1) Visit our “sugarbush,” to tap a tree; 2) Experience the history and process of making maple syrup firsthand; 3) Enhance their knowledge of tree identification and the process of photosynthesis. The program is geared to 4th grade students, but all ages are welcome.
It is very important that the students bring suitable hats, gloves, boots, and a warm jacket as everything is outside.
FISH's scheduled time is Thursday, March 6th from 9AM - 11:45AM (the program begins promptly at 9AM, so please leave enough time to arrive, park and get to the meeting place).
Cost is $5.00 per student (payable day of the field trip), chaperons (ie: adults) are Free. Cash is accepted and checks should be made to directly to Mackenzie Center.
You need to bring the attached Consent and Waiver form with you when you come. PLEASE PRINT THIS OUT AND BRING IT FOR YOUR FAMILY!!!
